El despertar espiritual El verdadero nacimiento del Aikido se dio como resultado de tres momentos de despertar espiritual que Ueshiba experimentó y que impactaron grandemente su entendimiento de las artes marciales. El primero ocurrió en 1925, cuando Ueshiba derrotó desarmado a un oficial de la marina que le atacó con un bokken (katana de madera), logro vencerlo sin dañarle. Ueshiba enseguida caminó a su jardín donde tuvo la siguiente revelación personal:... Sentí al universo temblar súbitamente, y que un espíritu brotó de la tierra, envolvió mi cuerpo, y transformó mi cuerpo en uno dorado. Al mismo tiempo mi cuerpo se volvió luz. Fui capaz de entender el susurro de las aves, y estaba claramente consciente de la mente de Dios, el creador del universo. En ese momento fui iluminado: la fuente del bud [el camino del arte marcial] es el amor de Dios el espíritu de la amorosa protección hacia todos los seres Bud no es el caer de un oponente a la fuerza; ni una herramienta para conducir al mundo a la destrucción con armas. El verdadero Bud es aceptar el espíritu del universo, mantener la paz del mundo: producir, proteger y cultivar correctamente a todos los seres en la naturaleza. Su segunda experiencia ocurrió en 1940, durante el proceso ritual de purificación misogi. Alrededor de las 2am, de pronto olvidé todas las técnicas de artes marciales que alguna vez aprendí. Las técnicas de mis maestros me parecieron completamente nuevas. Ahora eran vehículos para cultivar la vida, el conocimiento y la virtud; no artefactos con los cuales arrojar gente. Su tercera experiencia fue en 1942 durante la peor lucha de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, cuando Ueshiba tuvo una visión del "Gran Espíritu de la Paz". El Camino del Guerrero ha sido malentendido. No es un medio para matar y destruir a otros. Aquellos que buscan competir y ser mejores unos que otros están cometiendo un error terrible. Aplastar, herir, o destruir es lo peor que un ser humano puede hacer. El verdadero Camino de un Guerrero es prevenir tal carnicería es el Arte de la Paz, el poder del amor. Morihei Ueshiba's teacher Onisaburo Deguchi, at the gate of the Showa Shinseikai Administrative Office in Kameoka, 1935, on the grounds of the Omoto religious c...ompound. The Showa Shinseikai was a right wing para-military group established by Onisaburo Deguchi with the assistance of Morihei Ueshiba in 1934. Morihei Ueshiba would take charge of training many of its para-military troops. The Vice-Director was the well known ultra-nationalist and Black Dragon Society founder Uchida Ryohei. At the founding ceremony Onisaburo Deguchi was seated next to Toyama Mitsuru, the famous ultra-nationalist, pan-Asianist and founder of the Gen'yosha secret society established to agitate for Japanese military expansion and conquest. Onisaburo Deguchi stated the guiding principle of the Showa Shinseikai: "The organization shall sustain and support the great way of the divine holy nation, Japan, which is based on the kodo. We will sustain the heavenly work of the divine descendants of the throne of heaven, which is coeval with eternity. We will obey the spirit of the foundation of the nation. We wait expectantly for the fulfillment of the divine destiny of the imperial country and the destiny of the people of the nation." In 1935 Onisaburo Deguchi also wrote about the purpose of this group (readers of Morihei Ueshiba's "Takemusu Aiki", written in 1960, may see that Morihei Ueshiba repeats these statements there almost identically): The Showa Shinseikai means the changing of the order from ‘the spirit subordinated to the flesh’ to ‘the flesh subordinated to the spirit,’ thereby starting everything afresh putting it on a glorious path that accords with the principles of Heaven The family spirit of true love will expand to the level of the state so that a brilliant Japan based on the spirit of one large family will be born, and this will further spread to cover the whole of humanity and the whole of earthly creation. [From Deguchi Onisaburo Kyojin, by Kyotaro Deguchi] A report from the Japanese government's Home Ministry identified the Showa Shinseikai as one of the most powerful right-wing groups in Japan. As it grew in power the concern that Onisaburo Deguchi was planning to put himself in place of the Emperor, along with his support of young army officers intent on assassinating government officials (Morihei Ueshiba's lifelong friend Shumei Okawa was one of the leading civilian right-wing thinkers behind the assassinations. Morihei Ueshiba was an instructor at his Okawa Juku, a school for indoctrinating youth into right-wing thinking), became factors leading to the suppression of Omoto and the imprisonment of Onisaburo Deguchi. Morihei Ueshiba himself would escape imprisonment under the protection of Kenji Tomita, the Osaka Chief of Police and one of Morihei Ueshiba's students.

Hoy 14 de diciembre es el Cumplee de O Sensei,, siempre lo he fes-tejado practicando en algun Dojo del mundo ( Argentina - Alemania - Italia - Suiza - Colombia - Francia) menos en Japon porque no es tradicion de festejar los cumples de la gente fallecida, en el caso de O Sensei se lo recuerda el dia de su fallecimiento 26 de abril de 1969..!!! Este año por motivo del Covid19 festeje el cumple de O Sensei practicando "sombra".como lo hacia O Sen. sei muy frecuentemente.....Yo creo fehacientemente que si O Sensei estaria vivo lo primero que aconsejaria seria practique y no deje de practicar y aproveche esta oportunidad - la Pandemia- para practicar en" Solitario", no concurra a un Dojo para infectar a sus compañeros, las clases virtuales por Zoom vuelven mas necio a los practicantes, les apaga el fuego sagrado del Budo, quizas sirven como para que los practicantes pasen de alguna forma el tiempo sin pensar, para llenar el dia..!!!
