It is said that if you don’t have a picture at this corner you have never been to Buenos Aires! Have you been there? This Caminito of La Boca used to be tracks of the Ferrocarril General Roca. In 1954, the railroad closed, and the area where Caminito was became wasteland. A group of neighbors and the artist Benito Quinquela Martin, proposed to make it an outdoor museum. This scenic and iconic passage ...inaugurated in October 18th of 1959. Its name is a tribute to a tango song, composed by Juan de Dios Filiberto. Dicen que si no tenes una foto en esta esquina no pasaste por Buenos Aires! Ustedes pasaron por ahi? El Caminito de La Boca fue antiguamente un desvio del Ferrocarril General Roca, que dejo de funcionar en 1954. Al ver que se estaba transformando en un terreno baldio, un grupo de vecinos, conjunto con el artista Benito Quinquinela Martin, propusieron transformarlo en un Museo al aire libre. El pintoresco pasaje se inaguro el 18 de Octubre de 1959.
