#newtrends : #macetas. #gardenpots. We've always thought that #competition between #plants led us to take care of our pots without grass; with black, fertile, clean #soil. But, what if that's not in the plant's best interest? I present to you our #blackberry shrub, bursting with new leaves and tasty fruits since we transplanted it to its new home: a 20L paint #bucket with homemade substrate, grass and a #rue with whom to share its environment. This competition therefore does... not exist. #Nature works differently: associations between plants ensure a #biodiversity necessary for the collective #well-being of the #community. Siempre entendimos que la #competencia entre #plantas nos llevo a cuidar nuestras macetas sin pasto, con #tierra negra, fértil, limpia. Y si eso no es lo mejor? Les presento a nuestra #mora, llena de brotes, hojas y frutos desde que la trasplantamos a su nuevo #hogar: un #balde de 20L con sustrato hecho en casa, pasto y una #ruda con quien compartir su ambiente. Esta competencia por lo tanto, no existe. La #naturaleza funciona distinto: las asociaciones entre plantas aseguran una #biodiversidad necesaria para el #bienestar colectivo de la #comunidad. Why do we say that our #vegetablegarden is #regenerative ? Porque nuestra #huerta es #regenerativa ? Con el paso de los años, la agricultura convencional nos ha dejado con un suelo agotado de nutrientes. Muerto. O casi. A pesar del daño causado, con un poco de ayuda y descanso, nuestra tierra puede recuperar lo que le quitamos; pero tenemos que dejar de pedir sin dar. La #agriculturaregenerativa es justamente eso. Con la ayuda del sol (la mejor fuente de energía) buscamos... maximizar el potencial productivo del suelo no solo sin químicos o #agrotoxicos , sino que sin tocarlo, dándole el tiempo de descanso suficiente para volver a producir. De esta manera se logra el mayor secuestro de carbono. Que es lo mejor de todo esto? Si el 40% de los productores de nuestra hermosa Argentina fueran regenerativos, nuestro país seria neutro en su producción de gases de efecto invernadero. Si nuestro país fuera regenerativo, habría mas trabajo, mas alimento, mas salud. No seria estupendo? Over the years, conventional agriculture has left us with a soil depleted of nutrients. Dead. Or almost. Despite the damage caused, with a little help and rest, our land can recover what we took from it; but we have to stop taking without giving. #Regenerativeagriculture is just that. With the help of the sun (the best energy source we have) we seek to maximize the productive potential of the soil not only without chemicals, but without touching it, giving it enough time to rest in between. This way, the greatest sequestration of carbon is achieved. What's the catch? If 40% of food production (including cattle) in the US were to be regenerative, our country would be neutral in its production of greenhouse gases. If our country were regenerative, there would be more work, more food, more health. Think about it.
