An infinite amount of grapevine leaves transform the work of the harvesters as if it were a search for a treasure: the bunches of grapes. As if the gaze were raised to the sky at all times, the working day requires a remarkable physical and mental effort. It takes a lot of dexterity to carry out a task that will last several weeks and in the end they will say "task accomplished one more time." Como si la mirada estuviera elevada al cielo en todo momento, la jornada laboral requiere un notable esfuerzo físico y mental. Se requiere mucha destreza para llevar adelante una tarea que durará varias semanas y que al final dirán "tarea cumplida una vez más". Two sources of inspiration have come together in me to start this new work: on the one hand, a personal study of the artistic production of Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675); the second is related to the grape harvest tasks that are being carried out these days in different Argentine provinces. An arduous, artisan work, with a high use of labor during long daily days that begin with the first light of dawn. It is a... composition that has a wide palette of colors and tones -assembled by me from the primary colors as occurs in each of my works -; in turn, nature, human figures, irregular shapes, chromatic contrasts converge ... From now on, my respects go to the harvesters, who in silence and with a strenuous effort, have in their hands the responsibility of collecting a fruit that has the highest international quality standards. . . Dos fuentes de inspiración han confluido en mí para dar inicio a esta nueva obra: por una parte, un estudio personal de la producción artística de Johannes Vermeer (1632-1675); la segunda, tiene relación con las tareas de cosecha de uva que se están llevando a cabo por estos días en distintas provincias argentinas. Un trabajo arduo, artesanal, con una alta utilización de mano de obra durante largas jornadas diarias que comienzan con las primeras luces del amanecer. Es una composición que lleva una paleta amplia en colores y tonos -armados por mí a partir de los colores primarios como ocurre en cada una de mis obras-; a su vez, confluyen naturaleza, figuras humanas, formas irregulares, contrastes cromáticos...
