Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, an...d you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. Y SI CAMBIAMOS NUESTRAS CREENCIAS? Un día dejé de creer que era enfermo y sané Dejé de creer que no merecía nada y la abundancia me abrazó. Dejé de creer que no... merecía amor y me amé. Y desde entonces mi vida se convirtió en un constante milagro Una realización divina llena de armonía, de paz y sobre todo de aceptación. Y por fin pude ser feliz, no por lo de afuera ..sino por lo que yo decidí pensar, sentir y hacer. ¿Y si cambiamos nuestras creencias? Después de todo, como hemos visto, estamos viviendo en un mundo en el que hacemos lo que creemos. Y para hacer algo diferente debemos creer algo diferente. Piensa en las múltiples realidades alternativas que podrían surgir si nos deshiciéramos de nuestras creencias convencionales : solo importa lo material, lo que impera es la ley de la selva, somos frágiles e impotentes esclavos de nuestros genes, y estamos aquí debido a una azarosa disposición de los dados evolutivos. No solo debemos desmantelar la antigua historia y reemplazarla por otra más viable, sino también curar las heridas que la vieja historia nos ha producido durante siglos. La reprogramación y la curación deben tener lugar tanto a nivel individual como colectivo.
